MCP

The MCP server exposes the same executable tool registry as the in-app assistant (Database, Dashboards, Hosting, Git, Project management). DNS tools are not included.

By default tools/list advertises discovery tools (search_tools, invoke_tool) plus first-class web_search / web_get instead of every domain schema. Domain tools stay callable: load a schema with search_tools (set name to the tool) then run it with invoke_tool. Hosted MCP also still accepts tools/call with the inner name (for scripts). Opt into the full catalog with ?toolMode=all or header X-Kataflax-Tool-Mode: all (stdio: KATAFLAX_MCP_TOOL_MODE=all). web_search / web_get run on hosted MCP and the in-app assistant; stdio MCP cannot execute them.

Auth: personal access token (kfx_…) or platform JWT. Create a PAT in Settings → Developers → API keys.

Use Authorization: Bearer, not a custom API_KEY header. Full catalog: https://api.tefily.com/mcp?toolMode=all or header X-Kataflax-Tool-Mode: all.

Optional default project: set KATAFLAX_PROJECT_ID only on stdio / local HTTP processes. For hosted MCP, pass projectId in tool arguments or rely on tools that list projects first.
